The Ski Season is finished and Spring is officially here with lots happening!


The month of May:

  • North Island Zone Festival, May 12 – 16, presented by Courtenay Little Festival. See a different play every night performed by theater groups from around the Central Island

  • Art& Bloom Festival happening the May long Weekend May17-19 at the Kitty Coleman Woodland Gardens. For more information see their website: www.woodlandgardens.ca

  • Highland Games, May 17 at Lewis Park

  • Empire Days in Cumberland, May 17 -19 with events happening all weekend.

The month of June:

  • Federation of Canadian Artists Jun4 -23 at Pearl Ellis Gallery in Comox

  • 16th Annual Outdoor Recreation Show at the Courtenay & District Fish & Game Protection Association located out at Comox Lake

  • Shellfish Festival June 14 & 15 with many events happening down at the Comox Marina

  • Mt. Washington opens for the summer season with scenic chairlift rides and mountain biking. Check their website at www.mountwashington.ca for ongoing events.
